FREEDOM!!

Morality and marijuana is it wrong

July 12th, 2010 | By Pirate

We shouldn’t really be having a debate on whether or not something is viewed “wrong” by one person, that it should be illegal for all persons, when the “crime” is a victimless crime, and when there is no other justification from the act to be considered “Criminal” just because it is “wrong”.

Our country was founded on liberty and freedom.  We fought for these freedoms against tyranny and we won.  We won by fighting for what we believe in, at least our brave and determined founding fathers did.

But what we have no is no different than what they fought against to achieve freedom for this nation.

If marijuana is a crime at all, it is a victimless crime.  If we want to get Biblical, then it is obvious and certain that the Bible not only authorizes cannabis usage, but it clearly instructs man to use “every herb that bear seed”..  “for meat”  Genesis 1:29

The Bible also authorizes the use of strong substances.  Deuteronomy 14:26

Let not the sun go down on your wrath

Ephesians 4:26

Be you angry, and sin not: let not the sun go down on your wrath:

So it is written.  This scripture is a more of a recipe for good health.   Anger has wore me out over this past week.

I can tell when I have strayed from the Lord.  Its when it takes me a week to forgive someone.

I can’t remain mad.  I am going to have to eat my losses and move on from this.

I have hope in the almighty that He will make things right.  In good time.

BTW-  I do have some very interesting video either way, and I am still willing to pay anyone for video if they have any of this event.
Specifically the young lady who walked with me past the old man who screamed at me,  and also your friend who called my wife to tell her I was in jail.   Please contact me.  I still have to appear in court.
I need your statement, even if you don’t have video.

My plea to Utah voters and conscious folks

June 18th, 2010 | By Pirate

I have made my pleas to the Utah authorities, and I have some court dates ahead of me for protesting last week.

But as I have always done, as it makes more sense to do.  I am reaching out to the people of Utah.
The authorities have their reasons for prohibition.  But the people should know why cannabis should not be illegal, and how many consequences prohibition causes.  I made this video back in 2008, and there are some links to references below the video.

Getting arrested for excercising free speech in Utah

June 13th, 2010 | By Pirate

I am trying to gather video from my arrest today, to show exactly how I was abused and how my rights were violated by the Springville Utah. I asked several folks to film what happened and they did. Now I just need that video for my hearings. Please send the video to info@xcannabis.com please.

Pictures of the handcuff marks that are clearer than the video that I took with my camera phone.
My phone’s video camera is only a 1.3 megapixel camera, so the quality is poor.
Apparently my Sony video camera got broken during this escapade.  It worked 20 minutes before the arrest.  =(

Thanks for everyone who stood up for freedom today!

BTW go to Youtube.com/xcannabiscom to see other video that I have made during protests. It seems like its only Utah that disregards free speech rights! Shame on Utah authorities who operate this way!!

P.S. Using my phone for typing, please excuse the sloppiness. I am unable to edit posts until I get back to an actual computer.

Its not called The Zion Curtain for nothing!

June 12th, 2010 | By Pirate

I was protesting today in Springville Utah today and I was arrested. It was during the Art City Days parade, and since I didn’t get my permit for my megaphone, I left that in the car and walked around with my sign.
After they handcuffed me, I yelled “This is my first Amendment Rights that you are violating”. Which got me a charge of “disorderly conduct” (I think, as they were not very clear). Which is a class C misdemeanor.

I have a court date coming up, and I am going to seek council from an attorney that specializes in civil rights.
I am trying to raise money for that as we speak. Please consider buying a tshirt from http://emerald-sun.com to help the cause here in Utah.
Also since I have a mandantory court appearance that I need to stay in Utah for, I will continue to protest.

I will continue to protest in Springville, because I have First Amendment Rights and I will not agree to give those rights up!

FREEDOM!

Its not called The Zion Curtain for nothing!

Going to Utah to free the fake people

May 14th, 2010 | By Pirate

I wrote this on my facebook, which then inspired a video. We are going to be protesting in Utah again to free the minds of the fake people.

Please read this: http://www.feministmormonhousewives.org/?p=3085

I love how this lady moved to Seattle, and now refuses to be fake. But totally fesses up to being fake when she lived in Utah. Strange! But I see this in my class mates too.

When I grew up, I said EXACTLY what was on my mind. I didn’t try to fit in. I tattooed my body with dumb tattoos when I was 12 to express myself, so that people wouldn’t have to guess about me
.
I grew up with fake people. In the shadows my mom and dad would smoke their cigarettes and drink their coffee, sometimes with an occasional trip to the casino and some alcohol.
But we were not allowed to talk about their chain smoking, or their casino trips. My parents went to church, my mom taught primary classes for the kids. During the break between sunday school and sacrament, my mom would book it down the street so she could take a few drags and then rush back to church spraying perfume all over her and popping a piece of gum in her mouth.

Any mis-step by me (being the oldest and most prone to step out of the box), there would be serious consequences. Bringing attention to myself or our family was strictly forbidden. So of course it made me go even further with my acting out. LOL

But the irony, is the people who were close to me in school, who were so brave about their beliefs and opinions are the most meek, humble, quiet and FAKE people now.
It’s truly sad. I morn the loss of so many good friends that I once knew, but who now no longer exist.

Here is the video that I made today about it.

Conversation on the plane

February 14th, 2010 | By Pirate

On my way back from Denver this morning, the first stop was Salt Lake City.
One of the gents that I sat next to lived in Orem Utah, a place that I once lived.

This was our business in Springville Utah.

Tech Pro Now Business OpeningTPN Sprigville

The reason why I posted the pictures above, is based on some of the statements of this Mormon fellow.

Some of what he kept referring to was how marijuana makes you a deadbeat.  I told him the largest technology companies in the world including google, apple and microsoft were built by college aged potheads.  I also relayed that the last 3 presidents admitted to using pot.  Then I dropped on him what I do for a living, and how I built my companies from the ground up.  I started my company with no investment funds, no inheritance and no college education.  I taught myself to program in 3 different languages, and I have worked for Microsoft, Gateway, and several medical software companies.
He never really did give up on that silly idea.  But I think he knows he is wrong.

During our conversation, we started out talking about Energy Solutions, which is something that I opposed very strongly in Utah.
Basically Energy Solutions is making a nuclear waste depot for foreign clients in Utah’s west desert (near where two of my sisters live).  In the chamber of commerce meetings where Energy Solutions were speakers, I protested by resigning from the Chamber of Commerce, who we had donated money and dedicated a lot of hours to helping with their website.   The Chamber invited Energy Solutions to come woo local businesses.  So I left.
But this guy supports the idea of Energy Solutions handling hotter and hotter foreign waste.  His rationale is “well, we have to do something with it, Utah needs to get smart and take the money”  in almost those exact words.
Then he commented more (and this is when I knew the conversation would get interesting), and said that he doesn’t understand the rationale behind resisting nuclear energy, and that we all should just get with the picture.

That’s when I brought up hemp biofuel and how Henry Ford designed the diesel engine to run on hemp.

RE:  http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MGZEMwMx2vk

As predicted this gentlemen brought up the old cliche about “yeah and at the end of the day you can smoke it” sarcastically.

I was so happy to hear that come from him, because that is when I continued on about first annihilating the idea that hemp could possibly get you high, and secondly drawing a picture of how and why legal marijuana can only be a good thing.

I referenced of course the typical “when they ended prohibition of alcohol crime and gang activity decreased immensely”, and of course how marijuana being taxed and regulated can only help society instead of letting it all go to the mexican cartels.

But then I noted a few things that hit particularly close to home.  Since I grew up LDS, and this man is currently a life long LDS member.  I referenced how the second prophet of the LDS church gave clear instruction to the Mormon people to grow and use hemp.  See this post:  http://slu2.com/?3l

I had also told him about my father dieing of cancer, and how dad was a downwinder in the SW Utah desert, this was during the nuclear tests in the 50’s.  The man I was speaking with was also a downwinder.   I also told him how cannabis can cure cancer.  Reference:  http://slu2.com/?SW

Then he said “no way, because marijuana kills brain cells”.  I referenced that the US government has patented marijuana as a neuroprotectant.   This was something that he was also skeptical about.

We were friendly the whole time, and he even paid for my wine with a drink coupon that he hadn’t planned on using ever.
I thanked him, offered him my xCannabis business card, but he declined.

Overall it was a good experience, and I felt blessed to have met him.

BTW-  Meet my family.  We are healthy, happy, and certainly NOT lazy!
