Civil Rights Violated in Pocatello Idaho – For Immediate Release

June 12th, 2015 | By Pirate

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE – A Man’s Civil RIghts Violated in Pocatello Idaho

On February 16th 2015 the Pocatello police responded to a call to my house over a situation of assault and battery. A family member came to my house and assaulted me over a minor family dispute with a 3rd party.  He also hurt my 3 year old son in the process.

The police officer gave me the option to press charges for battery, and I told him “no, this is family”.

In speaking with the officer, he told me that “facebook messages are not illegal” and that “offering to box someone is not illegal”. (I have the discovery evidence which includes and audio recording of this conversation)

Also if you want to hear the entire story, I have supplied the discovery evidence, and the recorded police interviews here;  https://youtu.be/ggyGkRZaalQ

So after the police officer left, I wrote on facebook to the perpetrator and said; “If you want to fight me, there is a boxing ring here in town. I’ll meet you there any time you want.”

I was not threatening him, or intimidating him. In fact, with his interview (that is part of the discovery evidence) he admitted to the police that he (the perp) originally offered and advised me of a fist fight, and that “he does things old school”.  I was simply offering a venue to fight OTHER THAN my home where my family resides.  I wanted to let the perp know that there are better places to take care of that, IF HE STILL WANTED TO FIGHT.   But it was not acceptable to do it at my home.

Looking at the perp’s record, and his step-son’s (the step-son was the instigator) record in the public court repository, these two have a criminal records of one of them that includes “assault and battery with a deadly weapon”, “phone threats and harassment” and the other of “stalking” and assault. I have a fairly clean record for the past 20 years. When I was a teen I got a pot ticket for simple possession, and since then I have had a hand full of traffic infractions. But nothing else.  (7 of those traffic citations came from over zealous police in Pocatello in less than a 12 month period of time. 2 of those citations were for parking on own property, and those citations were thrown out)

So the next day, the police officer called me and referenced my facebook message, and told me “you can no longer file charges against the (perpetrator) since you wrote this message”. I responded, “you told me yesterday that I have a year to file charges, so since he is using you to harass me, that I do now want to file charges”. The officer responded “if you file battery charges on him, then I will file disorderly conduct charges on you”.
I responded “fine lets do that then”.  (he did not provide documentation of that phone conversation though, however I may have it on my broken phone, because I record all of my calls.  But my phone broke shortly after this incident.  I am still working on retrieving that info)

They did not file battery charges on the man that assaulted me. But instead they gave him “disorderly conduct charges” for assaulting me, which he plead guilty to. They also gave me the same charge.

This man who assaulted me was told (documented) to stay away from us. He came over anyway. He assaulted us. He even admitted it to the police. But they wouldn’t press “battery” charges on him, and they retaliated against me too.

I was running a newspaper in Pocatello Idaho, and in my 3rd Quarter release of my newspaper, I criticized their police budget and their purchasing of military vehicles. I also spoke out against the drug war (like I do in every newspaper). I believe this is why the police are retaliating against me, even though I have done nothing wrong.  I received more harassment via traffic stops in that city in less than 12 months while we lived there, than I have received in my ENTIRE LIFE.

They offered me a $200 bond forfeiture deal, but I refused it, because I am not guilty. I recorded that conversation too. Reference to my discovery evidence:

Why is the left so silent about Obama’s wars, both foreign and domestic?

August 29th, 2013 | By Pirate

I am so tired of hearing the far left liberals launch constant attacks and leverage intense blame on their ‘enemies’.
I hear from so many of these same liberals their excuses for attacking conservatives and libertarians, by claiming “we are against war, and we are in favor of human rights”.  They would claim that conservatives are against these things.

When George W. Bush was a president, I saw constant liberal rally’s against war, and against corporate favoritism.  But since Obama has been president, those same liberals are now either extinct or too embarassed to show their faces in public.  Which is it?  They aren’t around so that I can ask them.   The ones that I can find, that were solid on supporting Barack Obama in the last 2 elections, will now say  “I didn’t support Obama, I was more in favor of _________ (fill in the blank)”, typically they say something clever (though meaningless) like “I supported Jill Stein”.  (cough cough, bullshit)

I wrote this on my facebook on June 15th 2013:

“I wish I had a screen shot from my liberal friends MySpace/Facebook when George W. was in office. Every little thing he did wrong they crucified him for it. In fact, I was pretty pissed AND vocal myself. However, these same liberal connections that I have on these social networking sites almost pretend that Obama doesn’t even exist, even though he has been FAR harder on MJ issues, has made far more extreme measures to intrude upon our privacy, and has done everything GWB did, including the wars (undeclared such as Libya) and has done far too (if anything at all) little to protect civil rights. Bush had the Patriot Act issue, Obama had the indefinite detention of US citizens without trial issue via the NDAA. Obama spies on our phone calls, and increases measures to allow for further surveillance… But do these liberal folks complain about that? Nope?!!???!  And why not? If Mitt Romney got into office and did these same things, you know for sure they would be going crazy over this shit (so would I). But because it’s one of the liberal elite, they turn a blind eye to it.

Disgusting how disingenuous some humans are. These are the same lame asses that go nuts over their favorite pro-sports teams. Their team can do NOTHING wrong. But when they do, it’s the other teams fault. Sheep!”

I remember watching Russ Belville pimp Senator Barack Obama in 2008.  I couldn’t believe it then, the way that he shamelessly pimped this very unknown and unproven man to lead the free world.   I wasn’t so sure myself, I asked Obama this:  Barack can we count on you to keep your promises?

Then again in 2012, Russ even knowing how horrible Obama had been on marijuana policy (in fact far worse than George W. Bush) indicting nearly 9000% more legal medical marijuana providers in about half the time.
See the MMJ indictments under Obama via this Young Turks show, they used 2011 numbers;

http://youtu.be/x39bmr892hw

I mean even the Irish Parliament gets it, from thousands of miles across the Atlantic.  Calling Obama a “War Criminal”, because of all of Obama’s new and illegal/undeclared wars abroad (not just the drug war at home that he has given much more fuel to).

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QIMucHfUMyg

I heard all of the slander of Ron Paul by Russ and other far left liberals.  In fact, Russ took about 8 minutes on his radio show with me to insult and berate Ron Paul.   But how much worse could Ron Paul be than Obama?

These liberals are down right militant at attacking their “enemies” even conservative politicians at home.  But when their team does all of the same things as their “enemies”, they ignore it.  It almost seems like some of them forgot Obama even exists, not yet is he starting wars all over the world!

Here is Russ Belville pimping Obama in 2012, even after all of the foreign wars, and even after all of the marijuana crack down in our country.

http://slu2.com/radicalvotes

I am ashamed that I ever contributed to NORML and/or Russ Belville’s show.  These liberals for the most part are shameless hypocrites!

But further than that, I will NOT ignore their support of tyranny like they are ignoring Obama.

This is a video that I made to document all of this, including some news highlights regarding all of Obama’s foreign wars, and his domestic wars.

Do we ignore to “keep the peace” while our leaders are making war?  Or do we stand for what we believe in?
I will stand!

Creepy Ass Cracka – Not the final post on the George Zimmerman case

July 16th, 2013 | By Pirate

After a lot of back and forth with friends over the last week a few things are notable.
But first I have to say that in March of 2012 I came out in support of Zimmerman getting arrested and charged, based on all of the media hype.  They really made it sound like Zimmerman pulled a racist murder on a young boy, displaying pictures of Trayvon Martin when he was a pre-teen and such, and cutting and clipping the 911 call to make it sound as if there was some racist insults being slung at Trayvon.  I posted for a week straight about this and wore my hoodie and supported the Martin family.

But in the last week I have learned some disturbing details about this case that made me change my mind.

A few things that should be known, since I constantly hear about the “right wing white man agenda” constantly regarding this case.

  1. George Zimmerman was as white as Bob Marley.  George Zimmerman’s father was white, but his mother was Afro-Peruvian.
  2. George Zimmerman was not a republican or a right winger, he was a registered democrat
  3. It is said that George Zimmerman stood up for a man in the same town who’s civil rights were violated in a racial way, and George Zimmerman protested this and passed out flyers about this in 2010

So beyond all of the cultural technicalities, I have already addressed the scientific technicalities in my previous post.

http://xcannabis.com/2013/07/the-science-in-the-george-zimmerman-case/

But the last thing that I found in this case.  Just as of today July 16th 2013.  Is this ‘star witness’ who was on the phone with Trayvon Martin during this whole incident.  She claims that what motivated Trayvon Martin to freak out was that as he said “he is being followed by a creepy ass cracka”.

See the video here:   https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EGrX3zbxd6Y

Here more of her testimony here about the racial slurs that Trayvon Martin used:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dfbAjqpZHMc

So Trayvon Martin didn’t like the neighborhood watch captain to be watching him as he is going in and out of people’s back yards at night.  And when Zimmerman is on the phone and the dispatcher asks for Martin’s location, and Zimmerman gets out of his car to find the street sign or landmark, and the dispatcher says “are you following him” and Zimmerman says “ya”, the dispatcher responds “we don’t need you to do that”.  So Zimmerman starts heading back to his car and he got jumped.   Well during that conversation that Zimmerman was having with the police dispatch, Martin is busy talking to his friend on the phone, while trespassing in someone else’s backyard and the conversation is marked with racist slurs about Zimmerman’s racial identity as Trayvon Martin describes Zimmerman as a “creepy ass cracka”.

Now when I bring this up to my facebook acquaintances who have made this all about “racial profiling” for months and months.  They ignore it, and instead call me a racist?!

I find this hilarious, especially when they identify this as some “right wing conspiracy against the black man”.  As I noted earlier, Zimmerman was also black (Afro-Peruvian), and he was a registered democrat.

People are so desperate for more racism it seems.  (Barf)

Real Liberty vs. Fake Liberty – Ron Paul on the topic of politicians who fake it

Real Liberty vs. Fake Liberty – Ron Paul on the topic of politicians who fake it.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ExCcFlDkRCI

Watch Ron Paul’s entire speech in San Francisco here:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FobnAnrFG3c&feature=related

This is one of his most impressive speeches that I have heard.

I agree with his points about holding politicians to the fire, and not let them double-talk their way through an election.

A lot of politicians speak a good game, but they don’t play by the rules that they themselves define.

I pointed out the issues surrounding the drug war.

Some activists will support anything that is popular.
Some activists will support anything having anything to do with cannabis.
Real freedom loving activists are very particular about what they support.

There are 4 pieces of legislation that I mentioned:

HR 1983:
http://www.govtrack.us/congress/bill.xpd?bill=h112-1983

HR 2306
http://www.govtrack.us/congress/bill.xpd?bill=h112-2306

I-502
http://www.newapproachwa.org/content/initiative

I-505
http://www.sos.wa.gov/_assets/elections/initiatives/FinalText_173.pdf

In those examples you can see a similar topic (Cannabis law reform) being addressed.
The differences are great though.   They are as different as night and day, and this is why I can’t grasp how some activists can support all of these.   I certainly can’t understand how anyone who cares about liberty could possibly support  HR 1983, or I-502.

Ron Paul discusses the need to hold politicians feet to the fire, and call them on their double talk.

I am one freedom lover who doesn’t care what is popular, I care about freedom and liberty above all other social notions.

How are medical laws protecting patients?

May 28th, 2011 | By Pirate

Here are the facts.  Prop215 has been a good step forward, but stagnating  activism to proceed in regaining our rights have not helped, and in fact keeping cannabis “medical only” has only hurt people.

The facts are in the numbers.

“In 2009, there were 17,008 felony and 61,164 misdemeanor marijuana arrests in California, for a total of 78,172.
In 2008, there were 17,126 marijuana felonies and 61,388 misdemeanors, for a total of 78,514. This was the highest number of marijuana arrests since pot was decriminalized in California in 1976, according to Dale Gieringer of California NORML.”

I think that the fight to secure medical cannabis has been a good fight, and there have been many major victories won in this fight.

But cannabis prohibition violates many of our constitutional civil rights.   It should not be treated as anything more scarey or anything more regulated than aspirin.
Aspirin kills over 7500 people a year in the USA.   Cannabis does not kill ANYONE!

As far as medical dispensaries being protected, or medical patients being protected.
Just do a google search for  “Dispensaries shut down in California“.    http://slu2.com/6e2

This is not even a question of which is better in the issue of medical vs. social cannabis.
If we legalize cannabis further in can only be better for medical patients as it opens up the FREE MARKET, giving patients more options and better prices.

But further than that.  It helps protect people and legitimize the value that cannabis has in society, including and most importantly industrial hemp.

Cannabis is NOT medical only.   Cannabis is a God given plant with many values and uses.

Cannabis use has many uses

Martin Luther King Jr. Day

January 17th, 2011 | By Pirate

I have great admiration for Reverend Martin Luther King Jr. This man despite all adversity, despite jail and abuse for standing up for his rights, he continued on. This amazing human being earned a Nobel Peace Prize, a Phd, and much accreditation all over the world. He fought for so much for so many people, but to sum it up, he fought for civil rights all around.

“It really boils down to this: that all life is interrelated. We are all caught in an inescapable network of mutuality, tied into a single garment of destiny. Whatever affects one directly, affects all indirectly. We are made to live together because of the interrelated structure of reality. Did you ever stop to think that you can’t leave for your job in the morning without being dependent on most of the world? You get up in the morning and go to the bathroom and reach over for the sponge, and that’s handed to you by a Pacific islander. You reach for a bar of soap, and that’s given to you at the hands of a Frenchman. And then you go into the kitchen to drink your coffee for the morning, and that’s poured into your cup by a South American. And maybe you want tea: that’s poured into your cup by a Chinese. Or maybe you’re desirous of having cocoa for breakfast, and that’s poured into your cup by a West African. And then you reach over for your toast, and that’s given to you at the hands of an English-speaking farmer, not to mention the baker. And before you finish eating breakfast in the morning, you’ve depended on more than half the world. This is the way our universe is structured, this is its interrelated quality. We aren’t going to have peace on Earth until we recognize this basic fact of the interrelated structure of all reality.”

Independence Day broadcast from Reverend Ryan

July 2nd, 2010 | By Pirate

When you don’t stand up for your freedoms, you are to blame when they are taken away. If you find your child in jail later in life due to some BS marijuana charges, it will be our generation who is to blame for not getting laws reformed. 860,000 people got arrested for weed last year in the USA. The likelyhood that your kid will be a part of those statistic is extremely high in the USA. You can’t blame me. Im doing everything that I can to fight for civil rights!

The drug warriors keep up the pressure

May 21st, 2010 | By Pirate

Think that the marijuana battle has been won, based on a few victories in 14 states?   Even in those 14 states drug warriors continue to carry out their all out offensive on American citizens, even legal medical patients who are protected by the 10th Amendment.

Well, now the fight continues.  But not within out borders exclusively.  Our drug warriors are pursuing a freedom fighter in Canada who sold something as harmless as SEEDS!  These are seeds given to us by the creator, and should be respected by our government as such a blessing and a religious right to be able to enjoy cannabis. But not only does our government not respect our civil rights, but they bend the law to fit their particular interpretation, despite the contradictions their interpretations have with the constitution.

This is a video of Marc Emery’s final moments of freedom and the video of his young wife who is to be left all alone for who knows how many years!?

All of this over a natural, safe, and god given plant that has never killed anyone.

http://cannabisculture.com/

And now this, to vent!

Ya know, we sell alcohol, tobacco, and prescriptions in this country, and all of those substances have proven to:

1.  All be deadly

2.  To not have nearly as many benefits to marijuana

Marijuana has never killed anyone!

  • Tobacco kills about 390,000.
  • Alcohol kills about 80,000.
  • Sidestream smoke from tobacco kills about 50,000.
  • Cocaine kills about 2,200.
  • Heroin kills about 2,000.
  • Aspirin kills about 2,000.
  • Marijuana kills 0. There has never been a recorded death due to marijuana at any time in US history.
  • All illegal drugs combined kill about 4,500 people per year, or about one percent of the number killed by alcohol and tobacco. Tobacco kills more people each year than all of the people killed by all of the illegal drugs in the last century.

First they came for…

May 5th, 2010 | By Pirate

I can pretty much sum up why I stand up for my rights by using this one famous quote.

“THEY CAME FIRST for the Communists,
and I didn’t speak up because I wasn’t a Communist.

THEN THEY CAME for the Jews,
and I didn’t speak up because I wasn’t a Jew.

THEN THEY CAME for the trade unionists,
and I didn’t speak up because I wasn’t a trade unionist.

THEN THEY CAME for me
and by that time no one was left to speak up.”

by Pastor Martin Niemöller (1892–1984)

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/First_they_came…

If only more folks would stand up for freedom and civil rights, maybe we would all be free.
